A FINtastic encounter you’ll never forget!
During this nearly hour-long experience, an unforgettable educational dolphin encounter unfolds, where you can not only learn about these majestic creatures but also get the chance to interact with them in meaningful ways.
Before meeting your new dolphin friends, you’ll embark on a journey behind the scenes with our Interpreter Crew to learn all that goes into the feeding and care of our Atlantic Bottle-nosed dolphin pod. Take a peek inside the commissary, where meals for the four dolphins are individually inspected and prepared each day.
After your tour of the facilities, you will be guided to the dolphin habitat to meet the Marine Mammal Animal Care Crew and discover more about this species native to our coastlines along the Gulf.
Guided by the Marine Mammal experts, you’ll be able to learn more about the dolphins' behavior, their social structures, and the conservation efforts in place to protect them. This unique experience will bring you not one but TWO different ways of interacting with the animals. In the “trainer zone”, you’ll be able to learn about and help with some of their action-packed behaviors, then as you step into our special VIP area, you'll have the opportunity to gently touch, feed, and interact with these remarkable mammals.
This hands-on experience is designed to educate and inspire, creating lasting memories while fostering a sense of responsibility for ocean conservation. Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a seasoned wildlife enthusiast, the chance to interact with dolphins near the water's edge is an unforgettable way to learn, laugh, and be amazed by these incredible animals.

You will be asked to remove all jewelry before your animal encounter. A box will be provided for storage. Mississippi Aquarium is not responsible for loss or theft.
Before checking in for the encounter, guests must present their tickets at the gate. Guests must arrive on time to participate. The animals will not wait for late guests.
