Updated March 5, 2021:
Governor Tate Reeves lifted the mask mandate effective March 3rd a t 5:00pm. Although not required, we recommend all guests visiting Mississippi Aquarium wear proper face coverings while inside the buildings on campus. Aquarium staff will continue to wear masks. In accordance with the CDC and Harrison County guidelines, we have implemented policies and procedures to create a safe experience for guests, staff and animals. These procedures include timed arrival tickets and reservations, limited touchable objects and other health and safety procedures.
We will be open daily from 10 am to 5 pm. The last entry time is 4 pm.
General admission tickets are valid for one day. You will be prompted to select an entry time window during the ticketing process. This designates when you can arrive at the Aquarium. Once you are here, you are welcome to enjoy your stay the rest of the day.
Yes, absolutely. We have made some changes inside the park to allow all aquarium staff, volunteers and guests to appropriately social distance. You will see markers in ticketing areas as well as signage throughout the aquarium to remind us all to follow these guidelines. Additionally, we have indicated a recommended path, with a few select one-way-only areas, to help control traffic flow.

Our animal care team aims to provide the safest possible environment for our animals. They do this by wearing personal protective equipment and following all CDC guidelines.
The new policies we have put in place are meant to create the safest possible environment for everyone at the Aquarium, including our visitors, staff, volunteers, and the animals in our care. We ask that everyone follow social distancing protocols and other posted guidelines throughout the Aquarium. If you feel sick before your scheduled reservation, we ask that you reschedule and visit once you are feeling better..
In accordance with Harrison County’s orders, all guests 5 years and older are required to wear a face-covering during their visit to Mississippi Aquarium.
Absolutely. If there are health reasons that prevent you from wearing a face-covering, just let us know! Please contact us in advance for more information. tickets@msaquarium.org
We are taking these health and safety measures very seriously. The face covering policy will be enforced for guests during their visit, and guests who choose not to comply with these requirements may be asked to leave the Aquarium.
