Hurricane Sally Update: Mississippi Aquarium Closed Wednesday, September 16 to prepare for re-opening on Thursday, September 17

For Immediate Release: September 15, 2020  

GULFPORT, Miss. –  The animals, staff and guests are our top priority. Due to the threat of Hurricane Sally, Mississippi Aquarium will remain closed on Wednesday, September 16. The Aquarium will re-open to the public on Thursday, September 17 at 10:00 AM.

We are monitoring the weather reports closely and will keep our guests and members updated regularly on our website and social channels.
