  • Camp Aqua: Bayou Bound summer camp will take campers through the habitats surrounding our region. Campers will explore rivers, the Gulf of Mexico, and the Mississippi Sound: both in and out of the classroom. They will also explore the Aquarium’s various habitats, species, jobs, and facilities. The goal of Camp Aqua: Bayou Bound, is for campers to cultivate a deeper understanding of the waters that make up the Mississippi Sound, and begin to take action to conserve this local environment for future generations. Camp includes age-appropriate hands-on activities, readings, science experiments, exploration time in the Aquarium, crafts, camp t-shirt, daily lunch and snacks.
