Position Title: Campaign Administrator

Department: Fundraising/Administrative

Classification: Exempt

Direct Report: Campaign Director

Position Summary

The Campaign Administrator will work directly with the Campaign Director to manage daily operations of the Mississippi Aquarium Campaign, a comprehensive fundraising program to support the Mississippi Aquarium Foundation. This role will include all administrative aspects for the campaign office, prospect research and database development, planning and organizing special events, and working across teams of staff and volunteers to ensure professional execution of campaign tasks.

Responsibilities

The campaign administrator responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Becoming familiar with all campaign procedures, goals and leadership
  • Assisting in development and creation of all campaign materials (brochures, training materials, etc.)
  • Developing a comprehensive database of campaign prospects
  • Supporting campaign staff and volunteer leadership in preparation and follow up for leadership enlistments and prospect solicitations
  • Managing the campaign calendar
  • Planning and executing top quality meetings and events
  • Ensuring timely communication with stakeholders
  • Receiving and processing all campaign funds and pledges
  • Preparing and distributing campaign reports (weekly pledge reports, monthly budget/expense reports, etc.)
