Mississippi Aquarium is thrilled to unveil our latest education program: Aquarium Connections! This program is designed to connect the community with local researchers and to inspire conservation action.
Aquarium Connections will be offered every other month beginning April 9th for both in-person and virtual attendance.
This member exclusive program includes:
12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Space is limited.
Lunch will be available
for purchase.
This is a member-exclusive brown-bag lunch series that brings in coastal scientists to present on their research and conservation efforts. Spend your lunch learning about our local habitats, their importance, and the threats that they face.
Any Mississippi Aquarium member may
attend Aquarium Connections.

You may attend this event either in-person or virtually. During registration, you will specify whether you are registering to attend in-person or virtually. If attending virtually, you will receive a link to the Zoom meeting after registering which will stream the presentation. If attending in-person, you will attend
the event in our Changing Tides event center, presented by
Keesler Federal Credit Union.
Participants are welcome to purchase lunch with a designated Pelican Point Cafe team member in the event area prior to the start of the program.
Aquarium Connections begins on April 9, 2021 and will continue every other month after that, including June, August, October and December. Each program will begin at 12:00 PM and end at 1:00 PM.
The presenters will include a variety of scientists and researchers at federal and state organizations and academic institutions.
Although not required, we recommend all guests visiting Mississippi Aquarium wear proper face coverings while inside the buildings on campus, unless eating/drinking. Aquarium staff will continue to wear masks. Attendees are asked to maintain a social distance of 6 feet as often as possible.
